About Me
Hey there! I’m Ana — a York University student majoring in Biology and minoring in Kinesiology in the concurrent Education program.

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve dreamed of becoming a teacher. I started out teaching my stuffed animals and eventually recruited my younger siblings as my very first students.

After discovering my love for science in high school, I knew I wanted to become a science teacher — specifically a Biology teacher. From that point on, I’ve spent years tutoring students both online and in person, helping them not only understand Science and Math, but actually enjoy learning them.
I love planning lessons that are visually focused and built around clear, simple explanations for complex topics. My passion for visual arts shines through in the scientific diagrams I create, which I often use during lessons and share with students for future studying and review.
As a high-achieving student myself, I’m very familiar with a wide range of study techniques and learning strategies. I tailor my approach to each student’s learning style and personality, and there’s nothing more rewarding to me than seeing their confidence grow alongside their results.
I feel incredibly grateful to be building my own tutoring platform — something I am truly passionate about — and I am deeply committed to helping every one of my students succeed.

My mission is to create a supportive, encouraging learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, develop effective study skills, and truly understand what they’re learning — not just memorize it. I aim to make Science and Math feel approachable, visual, and empowering, so students can build both academic success and long-term confidence in their abilities.
